Program Description:
Since 1980, SFS has offered programs that are based in locations and ecosystems grappling with critical environmental issues such as climate change. SFS programs are intense, invigorating, and fulfilling and are delivered by an all-star team of faculty and staff. Students examine firsthand the environmental issues faced by host communities, gaining important research skills, making lifelong friends, and contributing to a growing body of international environmental research.

Denison students are encouraged to consider the full portfolio of SFS summer programs.  Summer sessions are typically 4-5 weeks in length and carried out at SFS field stations around the world.  Students may apply for a single session, or stack multiple session in a single location or combined program locations.  Visit the SFS website for more information.
