Take advantage of outdoor recreation and join an overnight trip to Shimabara and a hot springs resort. 

Immerse yourself in the local culture by practicing Japanese and make a friends with a Japanese conversation partner, who will help you adjust to your new home and introduce you to Japanese culture.
