Before You Go
Pre-Departure Planning
Once you have been accepted into your OCS program by your program provider, the program partners will be the key resource. Program partners will provide information and pre-departure instructions that should be followed carefully. Consult with the program staff if you have any questions at all. They will help you understand the visa process, tell you when to book airline tickets, etc. We are here to help, but the program provider is your first call.Passports
You should apply for a passport right away. If you already have a passport, make certain that it will not expire until at least six months after the end of the program. At least one parent/guardian should also have a valid passport in case of an emergency. Click here for Frequently Asked Questions about Passports and Visas.Student Visas
You are responsible for determining whether a visa is required for your program. If one is required, it is up to you to follow the visa application instructions given by the program partner. You should always consult with program partners about visa requirements. Click here for Frequently Asked Questions about Passports and Visas.
