Studying off campus offers the opportunity to expand your horizons, build your network, and challenge yourself to build skills for success as an adult in the world, all while earning credits to count toward your Denison degree requirements. We offer hundreds of approved programs in 60 countries on 6 continents to allow you to choose what fits your goals. The hardest part may be deciding on just one!

To make this happen, you’ll need to plan ahead, research programs, and then apply for Denison approval to study off campus in the fall of the academic year prior to study away. Most students apply during fall of their sophomore year and participate in a program the summer before junior year, or during the fall or spring of junior year. We’ll be here to offer guidance along the way, sending emails and posting to our Instagram from the start of the application process until the end of your program- and even after you return to campus.

The deadline to start an application for off-campus during Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Academic Year 2025-2026, January-Term 2026, or Spring 2026 was October 29, 2024. 

The next opportunity to apply for off-campus study (for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027) will be in the fall of 2025. You can ***sign up here** to be notified when we open applications next fall.
